A club for a dream

Game by game, on the bank of the Bulls, a group of girls and boys challenges to the sun, the weariness and even their tasks as students to support their team. It is a sports club of the University of Camagüey Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz, integrated by young people of this house of high studies, who have redeemed a fundamental role during this 59th National Baseball Series.

The team victory of El Mayor’s Warriors in the 58 National Boxing Tournament Playa Girón was not the news for today, but the individual triumph of four of its members left a musical chorus in the harrows as the epitaph of the year: “Camagüey has got to stop”.

Even those who hate mathematics in this province have taken up paper, pencil and calculator to know the so-called magic number of their team, statistics that would reveal the amount of victories that the Bulls need to classify the post-season of the 59th National series. However, in the bench of the team, Miguel Borroto and his colleagues have not taken the time to do it, because superior goals are at hand. The victories before Santiago de Cuba and Cienfuegos and the success 2-1 before Las Tunas, reaffirmed them in the honorary place with a balance of 49 victories and 31 failures and proved that Camagüey is not wining out of pure luck.
