CAMAGUEY.- After five years of study of the main theories and universal and Cuban Journalism currents and its implementation in the different media outlets of the province and adjoining areas, eight students of this degree in the University of Camaguey Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz, defended successfully their Diploma Thesis.

The main concepts, dimensions and methodologies systematization of the public agenda in the Agenda Setting studies and the link among the Adelante journal media agenda, the Cuban Communist Party political agenda in Camaguey, the Granma journal and la Ciudad de los Tinajones weekly paper were some of the themes explained by these new word professionals.

Theoretical proposals of Cuban investigators about journalistic genders in the Printed Journalism were also presented, apart from the gender social representations study in the film industry of the country, and an analysis of the economic subjects’ treatment in the Adelante.

The communicative products took once again an important place in the journalists´ researches, since they defended an audiovisual report and documentary, related to the music use in Las Tunas municipality and the impact of the cultural project “La musica y yo”.

From September on the editorials of Camaguey will receive Lorena Chavez Fernandez, Dione Ramos Gonzalez, Yusary Benito Deliano, Rafael Saroza Garcia and Eliannis Cutino, while Las Tunas will receive Yanelis Gonzalez Cespedes and Leydiana Leyva Romero and the Ciego de Avila will receive Jose Aleman Mesa.
