The number of self-employed workers in Cuba was 595,559 at the close of the first quarter of the year, 14,731 more than those reported in December 2018.

More than 60 percent of self-employed workers in Cuba have received training on the new regulations for the reorganization of this activity, whose measures will enter into force on December 7.
