CAMAGÜEY.- La Estrella, shop specialized in the sale of tobacco opened its doors in the city. Under the auspices of Habanos S.A., the installation enriches the prominence of the company Santa Maria in the area declared Cultural Patrimony of the Humanity.

In the first phase, lovers of the best tobacco in the world will find the 27 global brands of the exporting entity, in addition to coffee and rum of good quality for pair.

Later there are plans for the installation of the humidor room, that allow to keep correctly the cigars; a reserved area and other services required to become one of the Habanos 15 houses in the country.

According to Miguel Angel Leyva Cruz, director of the Provincial Tourism Company of Santa Maria City, the remarkable increase in the arrival of tourists demands new trade options.

"To have in the Province by the end of the year, a specialized area in the cigars is our biggest challenge. Since we took the first step, which was to open this shop, now we focus the effort in joining the list of 140 properties that exist in the world today with these characteristics".

The Director recognized as one of the biggest advantages of the place the degree of preparation of their workers. "All graduates of habanos sommelier and with great knowledge of their work".

Located in the thematic promenade Cinemas´ Street, the shop for the sale of tobacco adds to the portfolio of products of Santa Maria, as an attractive option for the city tourism.
