CAMAGÜEY.- Interaction with the community, exchange about the world of social media and to show the neighbors what our youngsters are thinking today, were the ideal pretexts to develop the Young Zone before the Balance assembly of the Young Communist League (UJC, Spanish acronym) in the municipality of Camagüey heading the XI Congress of this organization.

Professor Benito Estrada caught the attention of the people present about the use of personal information in social media with political and commercial ends, during the presentation of the book El Imperio de la Vigilancia of the journalist and writer Ignacio Ramonet. In this space for the young, the delegates, guests and community also enjoyed the sports and culture activities.

On the morning of Thursady 14, they will debate the prominence needed on account of the younger in the country’s economy, the disposition to assume the main tasks ahead of the league, the role of the base committee and the defense of the homeland in the particular context of the region. The first stage of the exchange will be with the executive and government authorities in the territory, the main themes will be agriculture and the part of youngsters in the production of food.

The young delegate Yoania Lizandra Pérez Martínez declared to Adelante Digital that it is necessary to raise awareness, not only political, but also of commitment to give continuity to our revolutionary process. These 200 delegates will have the mission to choose the new Municipal Committee of the UJC, as well as the delegation from Camagüey to the Provincial Assembly.
