CAMAGÜEY. – Aiming at achieving the title in 60 National Series of Baseball, the Bulls of the Flatness began this Monday the spring trainings in the grass of the Cándido Gónzález stadium, of this city.

59 edition of the classic of the Cuban ball ended only one month ago and the announcement of a new competitive structure forced the players to take a short rest and initiate a new training.

With an assistance of a hundred per cent of the presorted athletes, a work has begun to recover the forces, since the runner-ups finished with much intensity the last period. Then they will need fundamental tactical trainings to achieve a better development in the skills of the players.

To keep or to improve the obtained result is the fundamental objective, both of the direction of the team, and of the same athletes. For it, they have almost the same technical group and with the support of the faculty of Physical Culture of the University of Camagüey, only with the exception of Pedro Luis Lazo, who is in the seeding and the case of the doctor José Ignacio.

Among the players stand out the absences of Yosimar Cousin, Yariel Rodríguez, who are in the seeding and under contract abroad, respectively. Dariel Góngora did not begin the preparation since his transfer request to another province is still analyzed.

Nevertheless, there have joined to the group other talents as José Ramón Rodríguez y Alberio Quiroz, who are in the last phase of a process of recovery.

“Still with the absence of these pitchers we know that our pitching staff will not be so empty, since we have young people that we hope that they should have effectiveness, we know that it will not be compared to that of earlier mentioned, but with a good training big things can be achieved”, affirmed Felipe Sarduy, manager in functions.

With regard to that of last year this preparation will be different, bearing in mind the characteristics of duration of this tournament. There is a change of structure and of players that leads to do adjustments in the trainings, effect that will be visible during the whole baseball period.

The team presents a significant enthusiasm, motivation, interest and especially longing for triumphing. After a spectacular jump in this series the Bulls are already of race and they will go for this dream, which is to reach the so longed First Place and to give to this people who bets for them the glory of a championship.
