More than 900 PCR (polymerase chain reaction) tests for the diagnosis of COVID-19 patients are processed daily at the Camagüey Molecular Biology Laboratory. After the arrival of new equipment, its workers have managed to double the number of analyzes every 24 hours in just over a week.

As part of the monetary order process, the Central Bank of Cuba (BCC) published seven resolutions referring, among other issues, to bank operations and accounts, mechanisms to lessen the effect caused by the devaluation of the Cuban peso and to fulfill the external obligations contracted by the business sector before the monetary and exchange rate unification.

Cuba: 15 new cases confirmed, the cumulative is 2 107

The National Director of Epidemiology of the Cuban Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Francisco Duran, reported that there were 15 new cases of COVID-19, for an total of 2,107 positive cases across the island. 

With the confirmation today of 46 new positive cases of the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, which causes COVID-19, a total of 1,235 people have been infected with the pathogen in Cuba.
