A group of students from Camagüey who will represent Cuba in international meetings, were recognized last Wednesday at the Máximo Gómez Báez Vocational Pre-University Institute of Exact Sciences (IPVCE), by the Provincial Directorate of Education and that study center.

 Despite being a municipality with a sugarcane tradition, the development of livestock in Vertientes takes leaps and bounds, fully fulfilling its production plans. This sector means an important element within the results of food production in the territory, selected as outstanding in the emulation for July 26th. With close to 250 tons of meat and more than two million liters of milk delivered to the industry, they aim to break records this year.
