CAMAGÜEY.-Celebrating the 55th anniversary of the Young Communist League, its Provincial Bureau develops activities with the district delegates (younger than 35), age that must be attended by the organization according to its statutes. The program is also included in the actions of the territory to perfect the Local organs of the People´s Power.
The representative of the Cuban Parliament, Isabel González Cárdenas, president of Provincial Assembly of People´s Power, exchanged with a group of 66 young delegates of Camagüey. The young delegates received information about several sectors, among them the sugar industry, which defines our economy, according to González Cárdenas.
Moreover, she urged them to prepare themselves and work hard to reverse the negative opinions about the delegates. She manifested her concern for the inexistence here of delegates between 16 and 18 years old.
“We have to hope to do things right. When the enemy bets at the electoral process, we have to work better”, explained Rosa Campos, who in spite of having a child, she did not separate from her functions as delegate in one district of Minas.
“You should demand preparation, because you need and must be prepared”, emphasized Isabel González, who encouraged them to worry about the destiny of each one of the 1 164.2 million pesos of the provincial budget.
