According with the program, they try to multiply the hectares destined for the sowing and harvest of the cereal, effort that will be support by the Company of Grains Ruta Invasora and other entities of supplying and development of the MINAG.

The sum of the rice pole of San Antonio will be added to the growth that is already experienced by the nearby town Rodolfo Ramírez Esquivel, head office of a Basic Unit of Cooperative Production of the Ruta Invasora and of the rural cooperative farm Ernesto Che Guevara, of Cuba dedicated to this cultivation.

Camagüey extended the production areas, strongly in the north portion of the province, and also rescued areas of the south of Vertientes and Florida, thanks, especially, to the delivery of state areas in usufruct to farmers, fact that led, even, to installing a new drying room and mill.
