The Poultry Company of Camagüey programmed 130 million eggs for the current year, and of them it reached over 94,5 millions till the end of September, which represent 26 million units over the achieved in equal period of 2013.

Nevertheless, as affirmed Jesús Díaz Quinta, production manager of this entity, in the latter trimester must reach the scheduled thing.

"The growth obeys the demand and control of the Company in its productive units and the respective progress in the technical handling of the hens, which also takes to diminish the death rate. Also, the decrease of the temperatures favors us", said Jesús Díaz.

The multiple repairs of cages and troughs also impacted in the recovery of the Camagüeyan poultry , that also benefited this year with the arrangement of the slaughterhouse, what improves the movement of the herd, and the opening of a plant of incubation.

Camagüey, thanks to the productive heyday supported since last July, sends chicken eggs towards Santiago de Cuba, and stopped receiving this food from Sancti Spíritus and Ciego de Ávila, from the middle of the year.

"From buyers we turn into sellers, and this way we can distribute every day approximately 200 000 eggs for the sale to the population, and over 130 000, in the direction of the basic food basket and the consumption of educational and hospitable centers", expressed Roberto Barreiro Arias, manager of the unit of the Poultry Company of Camagüey.

The units "José Antonio Echeverría" and ¨Antonio Suárez¨, both located in Minas, along with the "América Latina", of the municipality head, stand out in the poultry development of the province.

Of fulfilling the plans, the Poultry Company from Camagüey would reach to outcomes not obtained for two decades, and would reaffirmed among the reliable ones of the country, which foresees the nonperformance of six homologous entities.
