CAMAGÜEY.- The disclosure of the heritage value in the generations of tomorrow and the results of the multiple findings made by the workers of the Research Directorate of the Office of the Historian of the City of Camagüey (OHCC), are displayed in the sample Archaeological Vision , in that emblematic institution, as part of the activities that add a taste of knowledge to this holiday stage.

They receive visitors drawings of the Agramonte Park, the Church of Soledad and the Sacred Heart of Jesus, made by the children who are members of the Traveling Easels initiative, winners of a contest called within the framework of the Workshop on Historical and Archaeological Studies. "The proposal pursues, through art, to insert in the little ones the love for their locality and the strengthening of identity," told Adelante Digital, the conservation technique and archeologist, Diana Ros Iraola.

Also, the space dedicated to underwater research is attractive. On that particular Ros Iraola said: “We show a video that demonstrates the different dives made by the specialists of this property, on the north coast of the province, in wrecks such as El Pizarro. In addition, we exhibit the equipment used in these companies such as the underwater camera and the diving suit ”.

Likewise, they share the items and bones discovered in various periods and in different excavations in the province. “We present aboriginal skulls, found in Sierra de Cubitas, the wooden gears that, apparently, belonged to an old mill, and perfume knobs, small bottles, inkwells, porcelain toys, so that people imagine the elements that can be found in one of our investigations, ” told the Adelante website, the property specialist Denys Rodríguez Bernet.

This sample, which brings the public closer to the work of the workers of that entity, located in Avellaneda 63, between Tío Perico and Castellanos, is part of the summer route from the archaeological Camagüey to the liberating Camagüey, of the city train routes. The opportunity to meet again with the history of the town and that of Cuba is a guarantee.
