CAMAGÜEY. - A new graduation of pedagogic assistants for infantile circles will take place here at the end of March. The strategy was designed to cover the vacant places in 26 institutions of the early childhood in the municipality, situation that, in spite of the efforts, still presents difficulties.

By means of the emergent courses that organize the Municipal Direction of Education and the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC), there is already 40 young people adjusted as the first course working as full-time assistants. They, together with those who will join to the lounges as soon as the training course is finished, will help to complete the pedagogic force and the quantity of requests in the territory.

Ann María Macides Morales, coordinator of the course, told to Adelante Digital that in this second occasion 36 were the girls who registered and who today do their practices in the centers of major deficit of teaching personnel.

“We have developed a program of three months that includes classes of communication, games and independent activities, formation of habits and the specialties of music and plastic arts. With it we try to offer to the girls a specific preparation for the attention to the children”, she added.

Likewise, Silvia Peralta, official of the FMC in charge of the process, mentioned that the organization gets into debt in propitiating the young people incorporation to the education of the early childhood. “We know the importance of having qualified persons in this stage of the childhood and direct our work to this objective”.
