CAMAGÜEY.- This 23 is a special day for the factory Tínima, the emblematic Camagüey´s brewery comes to its first 33 years of founded, with the pride of having being inaugurated by the Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.

For José Alberto Artola Moreno, assistant manager and one of 43 founders who still remain in the center, last months they have made possible a revival of its levels of production, thanks to the assembly, in October, of a 12 tons new cauldron, a compressor of double air, and of a packer and unpacker, automated both.

This introduced progress allowed last November to close with a production of 193 000 bottled boxes, unthinkable in previous moments, given by the multiple disadvantages derived from the aging of its equipment.

The previous jump is a preamble of the intention of closing the current December with approximately 200 000 boxes, value that would open the doors to the fulfillment of the annual plan, therefore they arranged twelve-hours work shifts of the whole week, up to next 30, when they will take refuge in a recess for the advent of 2019.

With more than 700 workers, the center delivers this drink in bottles to Holguín and Havana, and the beer broth to the Managerial Units of Base (UEB) of Las Tunas (it also contributes Holguín) and Ciego de Ávila (it transfers to its neighbor province of Sancti Spíritus).

In case of packed in casks, the destinations are, in addition to the province, those of Holguín, Las Tunas, Ciego de Ávila and Sancti Spíritus, and in bulk, to the Camagüey´s capital and to the Sancti Spíritus´ inhabitants.

The liquid beer, as part of a strategy of the country, comes also to Pinar del Río, Havana, and Granma.

The necessary changes in the technology, which dates of the decade of ‘80 of last century, there joins the target to improve the conditions of the constructive infrastructure of some segments of the installation.

With its quality stamp proved during its more than three decades in the national market, the Tínima bets for continuing among most favored by the popular taste, result of the demand of the group for prestige to support its gained good.
