CAMAGÜEY.- The hotel infrastructure in this province is ready to assume the tourism high season, that in the case of Cuba starts in the current November until March 2020.

The eleven facilities that exist have all the conditions created, asured Javier fonseca Castellanos, delegate of Cubanacán Hotels in the territory, whose institution counts with more than a thoulsand rooms at Santa Lucía beach, about 62 miles of the provincial capital.

He mentioned that there are options in five locations placed in this city over five centuries old, and that it easy take the segment that prefers the urban spaces, especially because it is a city with high architecture values.

In spite of the limitations set by the escalation of the American blockade to the island, especially to this supply source for the national economy, it was recently opened a direct connection through the airline Norwind, of the Russian tour operator Pegas Touristik, that carried about 400 tourists from Moscow, Russia, that as for now, is the main emitter to the Camagüeyan pole.

Almost one hundred passengers from Montreal, Canada arrived yesterday in a Sunwind flight to the International Airport Ignacio Agramonte, although in a near future this year, the flights in this line will increase to two times a week, besides including the departures from Toronto.

Among the inmediate projections for the growth of the hotel plant in this city, is the opening of San Juan de Dios, besides the ampliation of La Sevillana, all of them in a historical center evaluated as World Heritage.
