CAMAGÜEY.- The Students Hall in the Arts Academy Vicentina de la Torre exits the schools to settle in the centric Universal Art Gallery Alejo Carpentier, in this city.

The exhibitors are 32 students in the four years of medium level of visual arts, who through their works, mainly paintings and sculptures, show the weight of specialties with tradition in Camagüey.

The professor and artist Carlos Goyes Possee qualified the exposition as a “concert of metaphors and dreaminess” and urged to receive it “with the gratitude of the teacher that enjoys the present knowing that the future is a hard and difficult challenge to face”.

The inauguration was really a party for the teachers, the teenagers and their parents, focused on taking pictures of that starting moment that leads to understand the seriousness and energy that have to be used to assume the academic exercises.

Katisleivys Sedeño Venegas, professor and artist with the responsibility of the general direction of the Hall, commented to Adelante Digital about the greater visibility and search of new audiences from the gallery Alejo Carpentier, reopened this year and with a generous history of cultural projects.

A parade from the “Vicentina” to the Agramonte Park preceded the inauguration of the XXIII edition of the Students Hall, as a part of the twelfth Art Festival that will involve, up to the day 15th, the art teaching centers in Camagüey.
