As part of its XIIIrd tour along the country, which invariably the artists awarded in the contest realize every year, ten functions will take place in Camagüey divided between the Principal Theater (with the infantile morning shows at 11:00 a.m). and the Palace of the Sports Rafael Fortún (with gala performances at 4:00 and 9:00 p.m).

Numbers like, balance on trapeze, magic and ilusionism, trained animals,and gymnastics -executed by artists of Mexico, Spain, Venezuela and Cuba- make up the divertimento offer for this Camagüeyan weekend.

Parallel to the scenic spectacles, other manifestations of the art will accompany the trailer with movies like El circo de los extraños, Trapecio, El circo (with Cantinflas) and Agua para elefantes, will be exhibited in a cinematographic cycle of the Audio-visual Complex Nuevo Mundo; while in the Larios gallery will be shown the itinerant exhibit "El dolor del circo", with illustrative photos of the physical sacrifices that its protagonists simulate under makeup and suits of spangles.
