 The exhibition 100 Times Fidel, dedicated to the centenary of the Commander in Chief, was inaugurated at the Nicolás Guillén gallery space of Adelante newspaper with a performance of Canto a Fidel (Song to Fidel), by Carilda Oliver Labra, recited in the poet’s own voice.

The Young Communists League (UJC, by its acronym in Spanish) and representatives from various sectors visited four sites in Camagüey yesterday associated with the presence and work of Fidel Castro Ruz, as part of activities marking the centenary of his birth.
