More than 96% of effectiveness has the use of the Jusvinza (CIGB 258) in the Red Zones of the territory. Its application is due to the participation of the province in the study protocol of this drug in the confrontation with COVID-19.

Since 1978, 580 transplants have been performed in the territory's nephrology service. “We have transplants who have been like this for more than 20 years, but if you ask me, the graft has a survival period of 15 years because when it is lost they go back to dialysis.
