CAMAGÜEY.- With the fourth ride of the Carnival for the Bulls, the end point of the revelry that had as its center to honor the work of the novena directed by Miguel Borroto in the 59th National Baseball Series and all the Camagüey’s sport .

The efforts of several institutions such as Culture, Gastronomy, Agriculture, Transportation and the Azurera Sugar Company, in line with the University of Camagüey and that of Medical Sciences, art schools and the Folkloric Ballet, became visible in the composition of the Different floats.

Reinaldo Echemendía Estrada, artistic director of the promenade, said that “this new proposal gave us the possibility of entering the world of sport, as the inspiration of most of the creators, both in music, dance and scenic proposals were based on the ball .

“It gave us the possibility of being creative based on something we had never done before, the organization was very good and the color was adequate to the moment, time and current possibilities.”

The director of the Folkloric Ballet of Camagüey assured that this special carnival largely gives them a baggage of what they will have to do in six months in the San Juan – between June 23 and 29 – when taking experiences and feedback.

“The Camagüey’s people were included and filled the streets, squares and festive places,” Echemendía said, “I do think that when we have this type of revelry or San Juan itself, something fundamental is to take care of our heritage, the areas, we must be partners with the Office of the Historian in order to better organize our projection and that the city is not damaged.

“We have to be more original in terms of proposals for decoration, ornaments, not only for the walk but for the whole celebration, that always indicate that feeling of Camaguey that identifies us and respect for a city of more than 506 years of existence”.

Fireworks, the rumbling of drums, lots of light, joy, organization and youth were protagonists in the four walks of the Carnival by the Bulls that already comes to an end, but with the sights set on the 60 National Baseball Series.
