CAMAGÜEY.- The Chronicles from Cuba, initiative of the French visual artist JR, kicked off this Tuesday with the natural dynamics of San Juan de Dios Square in Camagüey.

Classified as the most ambitious project by the French artist, the unusual production takes photographs of people from different fields and records in video the individual histories to assemble a wall as a way to portrait an entire country in a period of three weeks.

Inspired in the work of the Mexican Diego Rivera, the series Chronicles finishes in this island, preceded by initiatives, in a minor scale, in France and the United States.

Camagüeyan students, personalities in different art manifestations, and workers modeled to collaborate with the Chronicles from Cuba.
