An important chapter of the agenda was the necessary transfer of the Provincial Historical File towards another place with conditions not only of space, but also functionality, communications and environmental conditions that there allows the preservation of hundreds of thousands of documents kept today on approximately 6 kilometers of shelves in the place that occupies the File.

The idea that prevailed in the Committee, is to support this institution in the environment of the area where it is located and where per years has been a forced step of social researchers and historians.

There was also presented to the consideration of the Committee the Executive Technical Project of the Archaeology Cabinet, work that needs of a big financial investment due to the state of deterioration of the place where the Office will settle, building located in Avellaneda street 63, constructed in the middle of the XVIIth century and where in a time functioned the buffet of lawyers Agramonte.

During the meet, the BA José Rodríguez Barrera, director of the Office of the Historian of the City of Camagüey, offered an information about the new characteristics that acquires the safe-conduct of the national heritage, creating for it, offices of the historian in the provinces of Sancti Spiritus, Remedios, Bayamo, Cienfuegos, Baracoa and Matanzas and ratifying the importance of the offices of Havana and Camagüey.

After being analyzed the study of the current situation of the national and local monuments declared in the province, there was agreed to present in the next meeting the records prepared to propose the declaration of Local Patrimony to the cave system Cueva Mexico, to the North-East of the municipality of Esmeralda, and that is the biggest of the province of Camagüey.
