CAMAGÜEY.- A donation of food products was delivered today to the Manuel Ascunce Domenech special school, in this city, by the small company Doncake's, a limited liability company dedicated to the production and marketing of bakery and sweet shop products.
The gift, consisting of imported chicken, sausages, rice and beans, as detailed by Glevis Duany Fabré, partner and sales manager, is just a way to share with special centers like this school.
Maribel Serrano Bernard, director of the institution that welcomes children with intellectual disabilities, thanked the gesture on behalf of the 99 students and teachers, because, as she stated, although this center is well cared for, each contribution is important.
For her part, Ileana Zamora Olivera, provincial methodologist of Special Education, also highlighted the value of kindness and this humanitarian gesture that contributes to completing the teaching process with greater quality.
The members of the mipyme (small private company) carried out the same gesture at the Manuel Ramón Silva nursing home, in the provincial capital, and the home for children without family protection in La Zambrana.
As Duany Fabré noted, although Doncake's was created in January 2023, it is not the first time they have made a donation of this type to social institutions in the province.
For them it is vital to contribute to the social development of the province, which is why they have supported other nursing homes, educational institutions in the municipality of Vertientes and health institutes in the province.
The new economic actors in the territory of Camagüey contribute to the development of the territory and are involved in the production of products and the provision of vital services for the people.
