CAMAGUEY.- Inspired by the structure of the Casa Insolita ("Unusual House"), a facility located in the city of Las Tunas (eastern Cuba), where optical and physical phenomena related to the force of gravity are shown, the construction of a Fantastic Park is planned to be completed by late 2023 in this city.
The execution and planning of the work is currently in the earth moving phase, has a budget of 56 million pesos and is the responsibility of the Provincial Tourism Company of Ciudad Santa Maria, which will be in charge of its commercial exploitation once the park is opened.
Fidel Alejandro Perez Esposito, architect investor of the business organization, told the Cuban News Agency that the proposal will include about 11 objects of work, as it will include several services to take advantage of its potential as a tourist and recreational attraction.
Plan of the fantastic park
Three zip lines or canopies - steel cables stretched in the air used as travel lanes to transport people -, a cafeteria-restaurant, skating rink, covered parking and an innovative 4D room, will be some of the project's future offerings.
One of the park's peculiarities will be its optical complex, with a wall of transparencies, labyrinths of mirrors and other unusual structures, distinctive for their unique and striking architectural design, Perez Exposito affirmed.
