CAMAGUEY.- The Young Communist League (UJC) in this province, joins the National Day against the Blockade with a wide program of activities that began on the 17th and will end on the 23rd, within the framework of the votes in the General Assembly of the Organization of the United Nations (UN) that will advocate once again for the cessation of this unjust policy towards Cuba.

On the 18th, in the municipality of Florida, a tree planting was carried out under the slogan My community denounces the genocidal blockade against Cuba. While on the 21st, from the clinic No. 33, in the Ignacio Agramonte district, of the city of Camagüey, youth leaders will exchange with students of Medical Sciences and will support them in the beautification of that installation destined to vaccination against COVID-19 and posters and drawings of children related to the criminal law imposed by the North American Government will be placed.

Kelly Álvarez Fernández, first secretary of the organization, explained that “this activity is fundamental because we young people have been affected by the effects of the blockade in all spheres. One of the actions that we will ponder, through social networks, will be the life stories of those boys who despite all these limitations have heroically fought COVID-19 from the Red Zone of the isolation centers ”.

Another moment to show support for the Cuban Revolution will occur with a tweet, on the 22nd, starting at 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 m. against that Yankee interference, with the hashtag # NoMásBloqueo, #EliminaElBloqueo, # AlsoEsUnVirus, # TúEresElPresente.

On the 23rd, from Sierra de Cubitas, the festival Mi trompo dances against the blockade will be held, to say “no” to this way of attacking the Cuban people.
