CAMAGÜEY.- On last Saturday, and with an hour of difference, two specialized shops were opened for the sale of products in convertible pesos, ON and Riviera Modas from the chains Caribe and Cimex respectively.

Caribe started the operation at 8:00 am after the director of the division, Carlos Alberto Gallo and Carmen Hernández Requejo, vice president of the Assembly of the People’s Power, cut the ribbon. According to the comments made by the direction, the franchise assumes this experience with a policy of supply and a renewing strategy, that facilitates this objective and the economic goals of the company, the rearrangement of the current prices focusing on the quality of services provided to the costumers with distinction, facilitation and guidance.

To receive this day, all of the workers from the sales area, that belong to the complex Centro Alemán, were trained to provide attention and timely information to the costumers, as well as in the services of repairs and guarantees. During a first stage of sales, the specialists of technical services will be directly in the shop to solve any problem.

In this moment, there are several types of refrigerators, TV sets, small appliances and office supplies, and one model of split air conditioner. The financial and economical blockade arbitrarily applied by the government of the United States has limited the delivery of some of this products but the strategies are set to find other suppliers.

This categories are also at the disposal of the costumers in the virtual shop, that can delivers the products at the facility on Cuba Street or directly in the home of the client.

The costumer Yolanda Fernández López was pleased by the design and environment of the shop “They have really put an effort. The chain is providing good attention for the costumers. I am very pleased, there are very interesting offers. The prices are varied and the shop is well supplied”.

Gallo commented that “They will work in two shifts of four workers. Most of them are young and were selected to work in this modality. A feature of this service is that we used to issue a guarantee certificate and another one of property, now we will issue only one certificate where we specify the new periods of guarantee established by the MINCIN”.

As a sales regulation, it was established that each client can acquire an electric motorcycle and other equipments that are for sale.

Rivieras Modas opened with all the categories that existed in both lines and will work in extended schedule according to the costumers’ influx.

This sales modality, that includes the authorization of state companies to import directly for natural people, has the goal of drawing fresh currency and thus improve the finances for the imports of items necessary for economy.
