CAMAGÜEY.- From next September until January 2020, reservations are available at the eight bases of the Popular Camping Company in the province of Camagüey, an option for the enjoyment of the family after the end of the summer stage.

Yaniuska Reinoso Padrón, commercial director of that entity, told ACN that by September there are only spaces left in the facilities with pool and river such as Battle of Saratoga, Monte Oscuro and Las Palmas, since those of Punta de Ganado and Villa del Sol are already covered, both located on the beach of Santa Lucia, north of this city.

Meanwhile, for the rest of the months of 2019 and the first of the following year, those interested can stay at any of the bases of the territory and others in Cuba, which in Camagüey can be booked at the points located in the shopping centers Santa Rosa and Red Star, in this city, or in the one located in the city of Florida, in the municipality of the same name.

Since last March, when the sale of offers for the holiday period began at first, the main sun and beach pole of the province remained as the leading product in the preference of Camagüey’s inhabitants.

The approximately 1,050 accommodation capacities that Campismo Popular has in Camagüey have been exhausted for this month and next August before the date that framed the beginning of the summer in the country, although the Camagüey’s citizens also demanded the offers of other Cuban regions, added the official.

El Charcazo, in Ciego de Ávila, stood out among the facilities of preference for local customers, in addition to El Jagua, in Cienfuegos, Silla de Gibara, in Holguín, Caletón Blanco, in Santiago de Cuba, and El Yunque, in Guantánamo, detailed .

Various recreational and gastronomic activities were specially designed for this stage, especially for holidays, with the purpose of providing a better quality service to vacationers from greater contact with nature.

ReinosoPadrón highlighted the practice of hiking and the visit to caves, together with cavers, as some of the proposals of the Los Cangilones base, environment very enjoyed by bathers because it has a natural pool of limestone rocks of several meters in the stream of the Río Máximo.

During the summer period the entity seeks to rescue the realization of traditional games such as the waxed stick and the pulling of the rope, in addition to maintaining the demanded games and sports games, options to ensure the healthy recreation of campers.
