CAMAGÜEY. – The deadline for submissions to the comic contest, part of the 15th Jornadas ArteCómic, is January 31st, 2025. This event is dedicated to promoting comics, animation, and other related cultural processes.

 The contest is open to all creators residing in the country, who may participate with complete, unpublished comic strips or graphic novels, each with at least six pages in length. Works can be submitted in physical or digital format, A3 size, with a resolution of 300 dpi.

Proposals can also be delivered in person at the ArteCómic Estudios headquarters, located at República Street No. 289, between Oscar Primelles and Finlay, in Camagüey.

 The contest is organized by the ArteCómic Estudios project, with the support of the Camagüey Council of Plastic Arts, the Provincial Film Center, the Provincial Culture Department of the territory, the Arte Plaza cultural industries platform of the Historian’s Office of Camagüey, the Vitrina de Valonia Museum of the Historian’s Office of Havana, and other institutions.
