CAMAGÜEY.-The Rafael Fortún Chacón Stadium, in this city, will host from 10 to 13 of this month the athletic event of the central zone of the country to qualify for the National School Games.

 The fair will feature the presence of athletes from Cienfuegos, Villa Clara, Sancti spiritus, Ciego de Ávila and Camagüey, in categories 13-14 and 15-16 years.

 According to the competition rules, the occupants of the first four places in each modality will be able to qualify for the national final, among the competitors under 14 years of age and the first two of the other age group.

The Camagüey´s delegation to this appointment is headed by Nadieska Villa, member of the national pre-selection of athletics, and also has among its main exponents to Yarima García, Frank Ernesto Cruchán, José Gaspar, Kevin Castro, José Herrera, Adalberto Palmero and Nayara Salazar, all medallists in the National School games last year.

The group of Camagüey´s coaches to the mentioned qualifying team of school athletics is composed by Doval Osnel Martínez, Tomás Hernández Oué and Emilio González Cardoso, all recognized among the best of the previous course.

Professors Raúl Abreu, Karell Fals, Leonel Vazquez, Amada Vergara, Iván Izaguirre and Belkis Arévalo are also part of the local representation.
