HAVANA.- Julio César La Cruz (81) and Damián Arce (49 kg), of Camagüey, was included in roster of the Cuba Domadores to the final of the World Series of Boxing against the Kazakhstan´s Astana Arlans to take place by the end of this month in China. The Olympic and world champion Arlen Lopez (75) was not included.

Rolando Acebal, Cuba´s head coach, told the information on national television and added that Lopez will remain training at the National Training Camp, in the capital city.

In addition, he announced the squad that will face the Kazakh team next September 26 and 28, in two Chinese cities that includes Damián Arce (49), Jorge Griñan (52), debutante Osvel Caballero (56), Lázaro Álvarez (60), Andy Cruz (64), Roniel Iglesias (69), Osley Iglesias (75), Julio Cesar La Cruz (81), Erislandy Savon (91) and Jose Angel Larduet (+91).

Cuba amounts two titles and same amount of second seats in its four participations in WSB and those two final loses were precisely against the Kazakh squad.

Acebal also said that a team of second figures will go to Ukraine, on a similar date, and that the grand final of the National Team Tournament will be held in Havana by the end of October, while the Playa Giron National Tournament will take place at the end of the year in the city of Camagüey.
