HAVANA.- Las Tunas got the remaining ticket to the grand final of the 57th Cuban National Baseball Series when knocking out 10-0 Industriales in the seventh match of this semifinal playoff.

The local side batted 12 hits, including five extra bases, and there were highlight to C Yosvani Alarcon, who hit 4 for 4, including a homer, a double and 3 RBIs; 1B Rafael Viñales, 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs; and SS Alex Ayala, 3 for 4 with an run driven in.

The win went to lefty Luis Gomez, who pitched seven scoreless innings allowing only five hits, while Freddy Alvarez took the loss after surrendering 5 runs, including 2 unearned, and 6 hits in four innings.

Thus, Industriales ranked fourth while Las Tunas advanced to the final for the first time in history of Cuban Baseball, where they will face Granma, defending champion who did the same last season.
