CAMAGÜEY.- Camagüey Bulls pitchers José Ramón Rodríguez and Yariel Rodríguez, who currently participate in the Can-Am League, will be two of the thirteen men who will be part of the pitching team of the Cuban national team in the Friendly Match Against States United States, to be held from July 2 to 7 in North Carolina.

Both right-handed pitchers will have a second chance with the big team in an international event, after their excellent results in the 56 National Baseball Series, the sub 23 championship and their participation in the Canadian League, in which up to the moment they accumulate two of the only four victories of Cuba.

In the Can-Am League, José Ramón has had to pitch in six challenges and presents balance of a win without setback. However, the youngster has a high ERA of 8.67, perhaps only nine-and-a-half with 17 hits and seven men with an uncontrollable run and a 7-pointer.

Yariel Rodríguez had a victory and a defeat in that same contest . Nicknamed "El Gallero de San Serapio", this pitcher has thrown on the northern ground for 3.85 in 18 and two thirds of performance, and has a total of 16 strikeouts and 13 tickets in his six outings to the diamond.

This championship of the first week of July will celebrate thirty years of the beginning of the Cuba-USA Friendly Top, a meeting that historically has the Caribbean front with 42 victories and 34 defeats, although from 2012 to 2016 the numbers favor The Americans by 13 wins to 12, with four grout included.

As it did not happen in a long time, the Camagüey’s baseball will continue to have part of their children wearing the uniform of the four letters as these two players will be joined by Leonel Segura, Humberto Bravo and Dariel Góngora in the team that will represent Cuba in the Rotterdam Baseball.
