HAVANA, CUBA.- (ACN) The Organizing Commission of the Central Committee of the Cuban Communist Party, the State and the Government of the funeral rites for Commander in Chief Fidel Castro announced the schedule of those activities.

According to a press release, from November 28 at 9 AM till 10 PM, the people of Havana city can pay homage to their late leader at the Jose Marti Memorial in the Revolution Square.

The following day, they can do it till noon. Throughout the country, those two days, places will be set up for the Cuban people to pay their respects and sign a solemn oath to fulfill the concept of Revolution  given by Fidel on May Day 2000, as an expression of their willingness to give continuity to his ideas and the Socialism.

On November 29, there will be a mass gathering at 7 PM in the Havana´s Revolution Square. Next morning, the Cuban leader´s ashes will be taken on the same itinerary he followed to arrive in Havana from Santiago the Cuba in the Victory Caravan in January 1959.

The ashes will arrive in the eastern city of Santiago de Cuba on December 3, and that day, at 7 PM, there will be a mass gathering in the Antonio Maceo Revolution Square.

On December 4, at 7 AM, the burial ceremony will take place at the Santa Ifigenia cemetery.
