During the cordial meeting, held on Thursday afternoon, they spoke about the excellent cooperation existing between Cuba and the ECLAC and the willingness to continue deepening it. Likewise, they tackled other topics on
the regional and international agendas. The top official of the United Nations expressed her satisfaction for being able to contribute to the process of updating of the island’s economic model.

Accompanying the distinguished visitor was Anibal Severino Rodriguez. Cuba was also represented at the meeting by Bruno Rodriguez and Rodrigo Malmierca, ministers of Foreign Affaire and Foreign Trade and Investment, respectively.
