Issues on mental health and active aging, quality indicators in geriatric services, and old age in the media, among others, will be on discussion today at the Havana´s Conference Center.

The vice president of the Cuban Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (INDER), Gladys Becquer, will give a keynote speech on "Physical activity as a health source."

Under the slogan "What to do to achieve living 120 years and more, with an active and satisfactory longevity," the 13th International Seminar on Longevity will bring together specialists from countries such as Dominican Republic, Peru and Ecuador.

Parallel to this event, running until Thursday, April 30, is also the Ninth International Nursing Meeting, the Second Oral Health for the Elderly Symposium, and the Tenth Meeting on Centenarians.
