HAVANA.- Mexican President-elect Andrés Manuel López Obrador visited the Palenque archaeological site in Tabasco, accompanied by Cuban singer-songwriter Silvio Rodríguez and the President of Cantabria, Spain, Miguel Ángel Revilla.

I am very happy to be here in Palenque, accompanied by Miguel Ángel Revilla, by Silvio," said López Obrador, quoted by Cubadebate.

We are on the eve of the inauguration, I came to Palenque to charge myself with energy, because here in addition to politics, economics, mathematics, astronomy was promoted much the spiritual, this is something splendid, beautiful. I'm here with my friends," said the president-elect in a video broadcast on social networks.

"And since we are already visiting the area, and we are now going to the Temple of the Cross, we have been taking many photos, many people and it is going to be known, it is better that I inform you, that you know that we are here in Palenque," he explained.

Lopez Obrador began today three days of rest before taking office on December 1, in the Chamber of Deputies in this capital.
