HAVANA.- As part of a transit visit, Miguel Diaz-Canel, President of the Councils of State and Ministers of Cuba, was received today in Paris, France, by the Prime Minister of that nation, Edouard Philippe.

The meeting took place in the Matignon Palace, where both will share a working lunch, according to the published agenda, according to Prensa Latina.

Diaz-Canel arrived a few hours ago in France, where he was received by Elio Rodriguez, the island's ambassador to that nation, and Dulce Buergo, ambassador to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

Diaz-Canel will make official visits to Russia, China, Vietnam, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and Laos in the next few days.
