The Ministry of Tourism (MINTUR) forecast the island-nation will receive another half a million visitors before year´s end.

According to Bisbé, the country is at a great moment to respond to this increase, as it has about 68 thousand rooms distributed in a hotel with more than half of its facilities rated four or five stars.

He also noted that among the values of the Caribbean country to attract tourism highlight the benefits of its climate and nature, security and hospitality of Cubans.

He also emphasized that the Island is rich in cultural and historical traditions and spaces worthy of the title of World Heritage, awarded by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

As specified, in the plans until 2030 Cuba plans to build 35 thousand rooms, as well as to build 24 projects linked to golf, more than 20 related to nautical or marine points and another 47 dedicated to adventure.
