HAVANA.- Cuba will participate in an international ministerial meeting of leaders of institutions to implement policies for young people, with headquarters in Russia as a prelude to the 19th World Festival of Youth and Students.

Susely Morfa González, first secretary of the National Committee of the Union of Communist Youth (UJC), heads the Cuban delegation to the ministerial appointment, which meets the 12 to the 14 of this month, the Juventud Rebelde newspaper.

The meeting is the prelude to the 19th World Festival of Youth and Students, which will host the Russian resort of Sochi from next Sunday, and to which he devoted the important governmental meeting the last day of the exchange.

Representatives from almost all the countries of the world analyzed at the central themes such as education, science, ecology, the environment and international security, always heading to the protection of the new generations.

Minutes before the appointment, the first secretary of the UJC stressed the importance of the encounter to expose the main experiences of Cuba on these issues, in particular those related to education and science.

 He added that this will be another opportunity to exchange projects and also know about the realities of other young people of the planet, whose rights are often violated.

"We'll speak up for a promising future, full of inclusion, full security and with a strong social commitment to our children, adolescents and young people, who are also contributing to the construction of a better world".
