CAMAGÜEY.- Camagüey´s delegation to the 8th Congress of the Union of Jurists of Cuba (UNJC) will transmit in that meeting the main experiences of the territory and the commitment to provide quality service to the people, in tune with the changes in the socio-economic model.

 Teresa Hinojosa Torres, president of the local branch of the UNJC in the province, said that the discussions that will have their background in previous assemblies developed in the database, and the committees will meet on topics of the highest importance.

 Among them stand out for their impact, professional growth, ethics, attention to young lawyers and law students, given the social function they perform, and the functioning of the guild in order to achieve the objectives of work.

 The event of those professionals will be in Havana, the days 7 and 8 of the current June, the date in which is celebrated the Day of the Jurist, to remember that in 1865 Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz defended his thesis for a degree in Civil Law and Canon Law.

 Next to its 8th Congress, lawyers, notaries, prosecutors and judges from Camagüey – as well as the rest of the country - are guarantors of the fulfillment of the laws in force in Cuba, hence the challenge of constant study, in tune with new regulations.
