CAMAGÜEY.- (ACN) The 14th National Meeting of Women Economists and Accountants began a two-day meeting on Monday in the city of Camaguey to promote exchanges of the best scientific technical experiences in the field and support the development of research projects.

The search for practical solutions to problems of production and services constitutes another objective of the event, which includes offering master conferences and presentation and discussion of works at the Santa Cecilia Convention Center.

Luis Napoles, Vice President of the National Association of Economists and Accountants, ANEC, in the province, told the press that the meeting included issues related with accounting, costs, finances, audits, economic thinking and Business administration. 

Others will talk about Economy and Environmental Accounting, local development and population, and agricultural economy, said Napoles who is also a member of the organizing committee.

University students and professors will accompany the women from different  sectors, business, scientific institutions and others.

The National Meeting of Women Economists and Accountants was created 20  years ago, as a provincial event up until its 6th edition and started by the ANEC branch in Camaguey where over 70 percent of its members are women.
