The fact happened when the driver of the bus Yutong 04-293 belonging to Transmetro company lost the control of the vehicle provoking it to overturn.

According to preliminary investigations, it was circulating over the limit of 60 km/h established for this stretch of the highway, according to declarations of Lieutenant Colonel Osmani Villalobos Saínz, head of the Provincial Unit of Transit. Until now neither lates nor serious injured persons are reported.

Originated from Santiago de Cuba and in the direction of Matanzas, in the bus were traveling nearly 30 persons, from whom 11 turned out to be injured and were attended in the Hospital Amalia Simoni, where Dr. Gerardo Martínez -specialist of the service of surgery- told that none was presenting danger for the life and that two minors were sent to the Pediatric Hospital Eduardo Agramonte Piña, without serious injuries.

While the causes keep on being investigated, this accident constitutes another alert for the drivers of vehicles and the users of the route in general sense, bearing in mind that in Cuba it constitutes the fifth cause of death, and in Camagüey until August, 308 transit accidents had took place.
