Ana Maria Mari Machado, vice-president of the Cuban Parliament, in a visit of work to Camagüey, granted an interview to Adelante where she tackled this topic and other matters related to improving the work of this political system.

“We have to deprive the account capitulation assemblies of the conception that they are only to try to solve material problems that are important and have to do with the well-being and satisfaction of the population”.

She added that they are working so that the space is not just to tackle needs or to elucidate determined questions to the electorate, but others that pass during the period of order of two years and a half.

She said: "We do not want to go with piled up problems and that an administrative answer should exist also in those places where there are matters that must be known and explained to the population, so that there should be had full information, of which although there have not been solved any of the raised questions, to know in what moment it will be able to be solved and the causes for which it has not been possible to do it.

In the final minutes of the interview she called to consider the work of the delegate that is to defend our political system, which is participative, representative and democratic.

In Camagüey, according to the secretariat of the Provincial Assembly of the People's Power, the calendar of meetings of account capitulation of the 865 constituencies kicked off on November 1st and will wrap up on December 20th.
