With these graduates from the majors of Medicine, Stomatology, Degree in Infirmary, Psychology, and Technologies of the Health, there are already 22 979 the registered ones since the foundation of the Medical University, of which 2 479 have been foreign.

In the historical Square of the Revolution Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz was recognized for being the most integral Luis Jesus Antúnez García, of the faculty of Technology of the Health and member of the Movement of Avant-garde Mario Muñoz Monroy, who had to his charge the reading of the Oath; while, of the foreign ones and from the faculty of Medical Schools, it was Ebenezer Nana Yanzu Ogoe, from Ghana.

Dr. Maria del Carmen Romero Sánchez, rector of the Camagüeyan Medical University, highlighted that of the new professionals, 105 graduated with Golden Title, 37 integrate the Movement Mario Muñoz Monroy, 16 received the Award to the Scientific Merit.

She also mentioned that they just wraped up a course in which the University received the condition of certified institution, for the Meeting of National Accreditation, and convened this young people of white robes to offer their services unconditionally, with dedication and altruism.

Ebenezer Nana Yanzu Ogoe said that the years of study in Cuba had served, not only to prepare himfrom the professional, but also from human point of view.

The ceremony was preceded by the laying of a floral gift to El Mayor and accompanied the graduates Jorge Luis Tapia Fonseca, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and first secretary in the province of Camagüey, Isabel González Cárdenas, delegated to the National Assembly of People's Power and president of the Provincial Assembly, authorities of the Public Health, among others.
