The work was presented inthe IInd Workshop of the Sun and the Diversity, sponsored by the Integrated Center of Water Technologies (CITA), and other institutions like Cubasolar, the Association of Farming and Forest Expersts and the Ministry of Science, Technology and the Environment.

According to the author, Master in Sciences and Electrical Engineer the software facilitates the electrical calculations to properly start the solar panels.

In the paper he mentions that he used catalogs and other references in the Internet, studies on solar panels, the preparation of 17 electric hydraulic projects with variants of autonomy and monitoring of prices in dollars of all the equipment.

Amador Vilariño highlighted that the software contributes with the profitability to the diminishing of the imports of agricultural productions, to the development of renewable sources of energy, indirectly in the sustainable of fragile ecosystems in mountains, basins, coastal zones and bays.

A year ago Camagüey created a photovoltaic park located in Guáimaro with a contribution of 1.6MW/h and a value in its execution of more than 5 milion Cuban pesos, with the putcome of not using more than 600 tons of fuel to generate electricty and reduce sentitively the contaminant gases of the atmosphere.

Yonis León, specialist of the Electrical Company said that in Camagüey there are 7 areas to contruct photovoltaic parks and ensured that the next one to be built is in the premises of the CITA, in the North Beltway and with a capacity of 1.2 MW/h.

The workshop was framed in the celebration for the World Day of the Sun, every June 21st, agreeing with the summer solstice.
