This was the principal pronouncement of the Provincial Assembly of People's Power, that took place on Saturday and this point was the most debated by the delegates.

In an intervention, Jorge Luis Tapia, member of the Central Committee and first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba in the territory, claimed that it is urgent to realize the attention to the expositions and complaints of the population with quality, depth and follow-up care.

He indicated the need of not considering this question as a problem, but the situation that is exhibited.

He criticized the treatment offered in many cases to the population, which he qualified like shoddiness, in spite of the numerous routes to know where, how and why happen mishaps that must be eliminated.

As examples he mentioned the meetings and the account capitulation of the district delegate of the Peoples´ Power with the electorate, the radial programs with popular participation and the publications of the printed matter and the television.

A committee of work that analyzed this topic and presented it in the meeting, admitted that although discreet advances are appreciated, the actions are insufficient, mainly for the administrative entities.

Isabel González, president of the governmental body, expressed that they have been indolent in executing correctly the attention to the population, and exemplified it with the subsidies granting to repair houses, task in which slowness is evident.

Another debated matter was about the town-planning violations, topic in which the absence of demand and acting was denounced for those who must make prevail the law, like the Physical Planning Institute (IPF) and the Integral Direction of Supervision with its inspectors' bodies.
