Next June 2nd they will kick off the making of "Maria Parchito", who will overcome the "Leonor" of 16 meters high that they exhibited in 2010, during the Week of the Camagüeyan Culture, and who was paying tribute to the protagonist of the story La  muñeca negra, of the book The Golden Age, by José Martí.

Carmen Soto, leader and founder of Carsueño, and National Award of Community Culture 2014, said that they hope to wrap it up for February 2nd, 2016, when there is celebrated the 502nd anniversary of the foundation of Camagüey and agrees with the beginning of the jollification in which Leonor was exhibited.

Although such an achievement was not register in the Guinness book of the world records, it is thought that the Camagüeyan doll till now should be the biggest of the world, since the Argentine Pepona, proprietor of the title in 2008, was only measuring 13 meters, said Carmen.

On the opening of the head office, she mentioned that it was obtained after the repair of a place with the effort, mainly, of the proper members of this community group, founded in 2003.

We receive the house in 2007 and kick off, step by step, with our resources, then we received the support of the Municipal government and the Center of Exchange and Reference on Community Initiatives, of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba, added the artisan.

Conceived like enclosure for the creation of the group of craftsmen and to show their pieces, the building has among its spaces a gallery where the network Muñearte will take place, Carmen's initiative to encourage the making of these toys in several provinces.

Also it possesses a study gallery for artists of other manifestations, a workshop with a mini library and sewing machines, and a toy hospital for the children of the community.
