Until this hour Najasa voters were heading the participation in the ballot boxes with 49,9 % of assistance, followed by Sierra de Cubitas, Esmeralda, and Vertientes, the second major municipality of Cuba after Ciénaga de Zapata.

For this second round 73 463 Camagüeyans are registered with right to vote and they will be able to exercise it in 210 schools opened for the elections until 6:00 pm.

In the first round 809 delegates were elected to the municipal assemblies of the Peoples´ Power and today, if there is no tie, 865 representatives of the base governments will be completed.

Mariano Basulto Pérez, president of the Provincial Electoral Committee (CEP), highlighted the organization and fluency of the electorate to the schools from the first hours of convocation of this second round.
