After a minimum of five years of studies in the Municipal University Centers (CUM) in the forms of meet, the majority, workpeople of different sectors of the production or the services, now show their titles of Bachelors' of Sociocultural Studies, Social Communication, Laws, Psychology, Accounting and Finance, Sociology and the Industrial, and Chemical engineerings, Agroindustrial Processes and Agronomy.

With this new group, the University of Camaguey, the first founded by the Revolution in November, 1967, adds 29 579 the graduates from its classrooms of the school years of pregrade, to which there are added other thousands of the level of postgraduate course, included Masters and Ph.Ds.  

In the ceremony that took place in the Square José A. Echevarría of the center, a group of postgraduates was recognized by their academic outcomes, among which stand out integrally and with Golden Title the Bachelor of Psychology Galina Piloy Prop, who, on having read the oath of the new professionals, ratified the loyalty to the Revolution and the gratitude for the possibility of forming as such.  

Santiago Lajes Choy, rector of the University of Camagüey, in his words expressed that the event dedicated to the 136 anniversary of the Protest of Baraguá, this time for the fourth occasion, constitutes a worth answer to the intransigence of Antonio Maceo, of not resigning from so important revolutionary social gain, and going forward, from now on, so that each one could contribute with their knowledge in socioeconomic tasks, as it is defined in the Lineaments of the VIth Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba.

Other alumni awarded by the different CUM are, of the majors of Psychology Elisabely Borges Pérez, from Sibanicú; Lesme I. Pérez Rodríguez, from Nuevitas; Yuleydis Borges Moisés, from Carlos M. de Céspedes; in Sociocultural Studies Yarelys Noy Viamontes, from Minas; Regla de la C. Rodríguez Alvalo, from Santa Cruz del Sur; Yamiris Lorenzo Patiño, from Santa Cruz del Sur; of the majors of Social Communication appear Maria of A. López Pérez, from Jimaguayú; Evelín Labrada Cristiá, from Esmeralda; Annia Zaldívar Acosta, from Sierra de Cubitas; of Laws are Efren Bacallao Sánchez, from Slopes and Andrés Luna Blanco from Camagüey; also, Yoany Cutiño Rodríguez, from Guáimaro in Agranomy and Tania A. Porrúa Castro, Industrial Engineering of the municipality of Camagüey.
