ESMERALDA, CAMAGÜEY.- In the Rice Mill 17 de Mayo, of this Camagüey’s municipality, a brigade of the Construction Company of Assembly No. 2 works in the remodeling of four silos of waste and forwarding, a drying ship and a discharge.

Walmer Carlos Rodríguez Rivero, head of the brigade, commented to the local station that the collective consists of 17 workers, among mechanics, workers, welders, carpenters and a crane operator, who work since the end of August in the assembly of the metal structures, from the foundation made previously.

He also pointed out that the structure, they already culminated the assembly of the four silos, with the capacity to store 37 tonnes per day; the cleaning vessel is at 80%; and are currently engaged in the lattice masts (frame that serves as support) and elevators.

Rodríguez Rivero also explained that, due to its greater capacity, the rice-drying warehouse of the municipality of Florida contains the materials for the continuity of the work.
